In May 2022 David had the opportunity to introduce the Year 5 and 6 students and teachers at Long Sutton CofE Primary school in Somerset to SeaHives. David explained the origin of the SeaHives concept, and how they had been recently deployed in Weymouth harbour. The students were able to handle a section of fishing net and assemble one of the smaller SeaHive shelters to better appreciate the weight and strength of the design. The students were really interested in the SeaHive shelter in Wales, and enjoyed identifying the different animals they could see in the images.
